Dunedin Highland Middle School is located in Dunedin, Florida. DHMS embraced the Scottish heritage of the city over 65 years ago and became widely known for having an outstanding performing arts program that incorporated the Scottish Arts. DHMS is the only public middle school with a Scottish Arts program in the United States. The Instrumental Music Department at DHMS consists of numerous ensembles including: the Highlander Band, Beginning Band, Scottish Pipe Band, jazz band, rock band,and Dance/Color Guard.
